Can you get a beer with lunch??
Always stop here on our way to the Outer Banks. People are wonderful and food is delicious.
MoreEvery time I walk through the door I feel like I'm at home...a second one for real....the food is some of the best you'll ever put in your mouth! I'd say some of the best cooks around doing southern classics, amazing seafood, pasta, and ooh the prime rib will have you coming back again and again😊...I absolutely love this place❤
MoreI travel to Columbia for work often - usually stop to get lunch here. I will not be returning nor recommending this place to colleges based off of the attitude I received from a server yesterday. I wish I had gotten her name, but I didn't. Please remember -- DO NOT BRING A WATER BOTTLE INTO THIS RESTAURANT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES unless you want horrible customer service in return. So silly.
MoreFood and service were great
Great food and great service
Amazing food..good service
Great food and service !!
We come in, after working a 13-14 hour day, and the food is fantastic. The staff that served us was amazing. We're here from ND, and this is one of our favorite places to eat.
MoreThe staff are friendly. Food is always good. The owner supports the community and is a great person.
MoreGreat place with true local charm.
Good food, great service and a great price! Nice place to eat!
Good place with nice people. Wouldnt go out of my way to visit, but for the price it serves a purpose. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, but everything else had a bit of a cafeteria, sysco foods feel and taste to it.
MoreGreat home style food
great food. great service. amazing owner.
Good country cooking -- from scratch!
Great breakfast, I'm from Kentucky and used to a real, authentic, hardy breakfast and that's just what we got here, even the gravy was decent which is pretty rare.
MoreMy opinion is limited due to the fact that I could not enter the place. Their many trash cans line the sidewalk and just turn your stomach. I didn't want to walk by them with my family with all the flies buzzing around. I detoured right across the street to a little (Mom & Pop) inside the wine tasting store and it was excellent.
MoreService was excellent, the restaurant clean and bright, but didn't care for the food. We had the buffet and the meat and veggies weren't cooked or seasoned well. But it really has a friendly, family oriented atmosphere!
MoreThe experience we had did not match all of the other reviews we were at before going here. Hot bar was relatively small, and hot was a misnomer as all the food that we tried was at best lukewarm. If you get a salad with your Hotbar they actually charge you even more than their already somewhat high price for the food. On top of that if you use a credit card they will charge you a service fee which in our case was $1.35 on a $30 order. Parking was also exceptionally difficult.
MoreNice place for a quick bite, staff was friendly. Been there a few times and haven't had bad service yet.
MoreGreat local business..some of the best Southern sausage biscuit gravy we've had! Omelets were great too!
MoreGrandkids loved chocolate chip pancakes and gravy biscuits.
Really friendly staff. Delicious food... and very reasonably priced compared to a lot of places in the outer banks.
MoreI was so looking forward to going back to this restaurant to have my hamburger steak it was listd on the menu at 795 not at the buffet but on the menu including your tea I went and had dinner night before last it I asked because they were giving out paper menus has anything changed and I was told no. the meal went from 7.95 to 10.95 my meal was $15 I am very very disappointed I don't think I'll be dining there anymore any I'm sorry but that was a big jump plus I pay the $2 tip. And the menu is still online and I looked it up and it was 795.
MoreThey now charge just to pay with a card so you better bring cash and the food isn't that good
MoreGood country cooking, pleasant atmosphere
Great small town diner. Friendly staff. Good prices. The fried catfish was very tasty. We also had some stuffed shrimp thingies that I really enjoyed! Don't skip the key lime pie. We were full, but got some to go and enjoyed it down the road.
MoreFriendly service and good food. I got the seafood platter (you can choose 3 items) with fried oysters, softsgell crab, and flounder. It was delicious and fresh. Great spot to stop for a good meal whether you are heading to the beach or heading west for home.
MoreFirst time we tried it we were hoping for Sunday breakfast. Unfortunately they stop serving breakfast at 10:30. We had the buffet instead. It had a pretty good salad and the hot food is pretty standard for around here. Went back with my MIL and had lunch. I had the soft shell crab and it was very good! MIL had the club which she said was good as well. Great service and super nice people. Can't wait to get there in time for breakfast!
MoreOur first time trying coming back from Outer Banks. Good food. Will try again when down that way.
MoreColumbia Crossing has amazing food; we order the Catfish Basket and it was amazing we had been eating seafood all week and it was easily they best restaurant we’ve been too. It also has great customer service the ladies were super nice and never made us feel rush, we also got our food super fast considering we are a family of six. It was such a great experience, easily a 10/10 would way there again.
MoreNice small town diner. We stopped for breakfast, I had 2 eggs, bacon, and a biscuit with a side of some of the most perfect grits I've ever eaten and an amazing biscuit for just over $5. My husband had 2 beautifully prepared blueberry pancakes and hash browns. We left well satisfied for $15 plus tip. Our waitress (I didn't get her name, sorry - you were great!) was attentive and welcoming. This would be a perfect local place if we weren't passing through, but we were glad we stopped.
MoreGood food good service
Delicious made from scratch food at an incredibly reasonable price!! The service was fantastic and the food was amazing! Highly recommend if you are in the area or passing through to the OBX.
MoreGreat food. Treat you like family. Amazing service.
The food and waitress were great. But lady at the cash register was ill acting. Throw stuff around on the counter top when I went up to pay.
MoreIt was wonderful. Fast service. The people there has very good manners💖. Good food, just an overall good experience!
MoreBreakfast was amazing! You get plenty to eat at a great price
Service was excellent and hamburger was delicious. Had never eaten here but will do again if we are in that area again. Staff was so friendly and inviting!!
MoreReally nice, friendly, great food.
For a stop to eat before you get to the beach it's perfect. Wait staff was attentive and food was a little pricey for what you got but it was good.
MoreWe walked in before 10:30 and waitress took our drink order of orange juice and hot tea. Brought it to our table and then told us they were no longer serving breakfast. Although, someone came in after us and ordered a breakfast sandwich to go. She should have said they were no longer serving breakfast when I ordered my orange juice. Will not ever go there again.
MoreVery good food, ample portions, friendly staff, reasonable prices. We will be eating there next time in the area.
MoreOur group of 4 came here after paddling the Scuppernong river from Creswell. If you like fried seafood, this is the place go. Sweet potato fries=awesome! Service was fairly quick and waitress checked on us regularly. Prices are quite reasonable. Would have given 5 stars, but no draft beer and very limited selection of bottles, mostly watered down American style lager. Be warned: this is the only local, sit-down restaurant right on the highway between the OBX and Plymouth. On Saturdays in the summer, it can get loaded with tourists heading back to the Triangle from their beach week. Also, they charge an extra fee for credit cards, so bring cash.
MoreGood food, comfortable restaurant. It has that small-town feel to it. All the staff was friendly to me and my loud kids - they just made it fine to have a family there. It was a nice surprise to find on the way home from the beach, when you're not sure what you'll get. I had their pork chop special. Offered grilled or fried. I ordered grilled, and chose two sides from their list. Everything was well cooked and seasoned.
MoreDelicious local spot. Friendly and quick service. Crab cakes and hugh puppies were fantastic!
MoreExcellent place to eat with a very reasonably priced, delicious buffet. Not fancy, just a comfortable and clean home-style restaurant. Our server Patty, was wonderful. Right on Hwy 64 so it is very convenient if you’re traveling to or from the Outer Banks. Highly recommended.
MoreThis was our first eat in experience since quarantine started and it was a great one! We were traveling and I utilized the search along my trip option on Google maps and stumbled across this restaurant! The staff was very friendly, the food came out quickly, CDC guidelines were followed and everything tasted great! I'm glad that we stopped , I just didn't think to take pictures until our food was demolished! 😂 I definitely recommend giving them a try!
MoreIt was ok food was not great but they were fast.
Food was good & plentiful also the service was excellent
